Dr. Mini Sekharan N.

Associate Professor (Fisheries Management), School of Industrial Fisheries, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), INDIA. 18 years’ experience in teaching, research and consultancies focused on Fisheries Management, Fisheries Supply Chains, Fish Business Management, International Marketing of Fish and Fishery Products.

Masters (Industrial Fisheries) and PhD (Prospects of Marketing Indigenous Ornamental Fishes of Kerala) from CUSAT and Faculty Secondment in Universita del Salento (Italy). Researches and activities focused on sustainable ornamental fisheries from 2000, paved way to international platforms OFI, AQUARAMA, AQUAREALM & INFOFISH as Invited speaker, author and consultant a decade back.

Work in association with Ornamental Fish International (OFI) International Institute of Fisheries, Economics and Trade (IIEFT), Europe Union (EU)- FRACTION Project, UNCTAD-INDIA, Sustainability Network of India (SSNI). Organised SOFI Way Forward, Safe Seafood and Seafood e Connect as collaborative programmes with ornamental and seafood stakeholders globally.

Associated as Expert, Action plan development for Tuna Fish Value Chain in Lakshadweep, NITI AYOG, INDIA. International Marketing Consultant, OFI (Ornamental Fish International), Marketing Consultant of KAVIL (Kerala Aqua Ventures International Ltd -A Govt of Kerala Undertaking), Advisory Board Member of SSNI (Sustainability Network of India). KIED Trainer for Entrepreneurship development.
